These plastic spacers patented and manufactured by us, make it possible to shotcrete pipes of any diameter, even for specific sizes if requested, thanks to the diversification of models and formats.

REINFORCING MESH SPACERS – TYPE “A”
For single- or multiple-layer reinforcement for pipes with a diameter over 20″. They can be positioned around the pipe by threading a plastic cord or strap through the relative holes to create a ring of spacers around the pipe.

REINFORCING MESH SPACERS – TYPE “B”
For applying reinforcement on pipes with a diameter less than 20″.
In general, for 10-inch diameter pipes we recommend the use of 6 spacers per ring, positioning them 40/50 cm apart.
To fasten them in place, one of two systems can be used:
- Fastening them in place radially as for Type “A” using cords or straps.
- Using a metal mesh of suitable pitch (see measurements in the table), the spacers can first be locked onto the mesh which is then wrapped around the pipe with the spacers already in position (for pipes up to 20″ only).

REINFORCING MESH SPACERS – TYPE “C”
For applying double reinforcement or single mesh on pipes with a diameter over 16″ with shotcrete thicknesses of 100 mm.
Used with an electro-welded mesh attached to the top hooks, a mesh spacing of 70 mm can be achieved.
