Csplast is part of a campaign to improve safety in Colorno, together with other important companies in the town.
Thanks to the cooperation between businesses, the municipality and the police, the southern artisan district of Colorno will be equipped with three new OCR cameras, donated by entrepreneurs in the area, including our company.
Csplast firmly believes in the importance of collaboration and cooperation with the environment in which it has been operating for years, in order to increase its safety and liveability for a better well-being of the entire community.

SOUTH ARTISAN AND INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, 3 NEW HIGH DEFINITION OCR CAMERAS COMING SOON
3 new high-tech OCR cameras are arriving in the artisan and industrial district south of Colorno, on the border with San Polo di Torrile, thanks to the generosity of several entrepreneurs in the area, who responded to the municipal administration’s appeal to ensure safety the city.
“Following the comparison with the different production realities of the neighborhood – the deputy mayor Cristiano Vecchi is keen to underline, engaged in discussions with private individuals – we have gathered a vast willingness to create a video surveillance system in three strategic points, capable of safety throughout the neighborhood. The in-depth study was shared with the Carabinieri of Colorno, in particular with Marshal Filippo Collana. A heartfelt thank you to all those who generously joined the initiative.”
The companies that participated in the project are Carrozzeria Prati, Co’ Italo ceramiche, Matthews International, Vighi Security Doors, Cementart, Mag-Data, CSPlast, Zec and Cedes.
The intervention will cost a total of approximately 14,500 euros. The cameras will be donated to the Municipality and, installed in key points of the neighborhood, will be connected to the operations center.
In recent days, a meeting was held in the Town Hall to present and explore the project, with the presence of many of the entrepreneurs, the deputy mayor Vecchi, the councilor for public works Mirka Grassi, committed to examining the technical aspects, and the Mayor Christian Stocchi.
Mayor Christian Stocchi thanked all those who made this project possible, which will now have to be examined by the provincial committee for safety and public order before being implemented.
“The municipal administration – recalled the Mayor – made an appeal already in September 2019 and the Community responded generously: in these three years, 22 new cameras connected with the power station, plus 7 other closed circuits, placed in the station by RFI, after the hope expressed several times in this sense by the Municipality. An important result, therefore, the result of a commitment not only of the Administration, but of the entire Community, from private individuals to the police, with whom the comparison is daily and positive”.
